There will be dvds...eventually.

In the meantime, read (or reread) the book.

Ok Phil, I caught last nights episode. What was it #4? I wasn't following it when it came to the Queen and her brother are they having an incestuoust affair?
I really loved the casting of Jason Momoa as the tribal king. God he's hot!
I'm off to find the book today.

Awesome posts, Philbert. Thanks!

I haven't read the books or watched it on TV yet, but now I want to! Although I may wait until I can get a whole season's worth to watch at once. Seems like a good idea for me in light of the complex and numerous characters and plot lines.

It's not really self-restraint on my part. Just don't seem to remember to get in front of the TV at the right time, and if I record something and don't watch it right away, DH gets all antsy to erase it.

I do plan to download the books though. I PDT_Love_04 my kindle, and no one bugs me to hurry up and read my downloads!

Jen, Phil can confirm or deny this, but apparently there are four big ass books, and everyone has been waiting eons for Book 5. Seven are planned?

I mentioned the books to my son and he said he read all of them. Rooted around on the bookshelves and found #4. Don't know where 1, 2, and 3 might have gone to, but I've downloaded #1. Haven't started reading it yet. Will probably begin on the long plane ride to NYC next weekend.
