.ShovelWatch is a joint project of the non-profit investigative journalism organization ProPublica, the morning news program The Takeaway and WNYC, New York's flagship public radio station.
ProPublica is an independent, non-profit newsroom that produces investigative journalism in the public interest. Our work focuses exclusively on truly important stories, stories with “moral force.” We do this by producing journalism that shines a light on exploitation of the weak by the strong and on the failures of those with power to vindicate the trust placed in them.
The Takeaway with John Hockenberry and Adaora Udoji The Takeaway is the new national morning news program that delivers the news and analysis you need to catch up, start your day, and prepare for what’s ahead. Be a part of the American conversation.
