Countdown 12/3

Postby dejapig » Wed Dec 03, 2008 8:06 pm

Keith will have Matt Alexander on tonight...the author of the essay (see Countdown 12/1 thread) saying torture doesn't work!

The interview was excellent.

As for Palin, some people's moment in the spotlight ends as suddenly as it began. I hope hers turns out to be one of those.

I was intrigued by the study that showed Countdown as the 3rd most often discussed around kitchen tables & water coolers. Keith seemed amazed and really pleased. :-)

I fear there never will be a final Palin moment.

And congrats to Keith for being #3! But the Drudge Report???????

It just says "most talked about." That could be in a positive or negative way. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02

For sure it's going to be both positive & negative, depending on the viewer's politics, but that's what makes horse races.

The network wants that buzz, and the fact that they know people are buzzing about Countdown is why he got that big fat raise and the contract extension!

(Of course, I was buzzing about Countdown before MSNBC became "the place for politics," and I'll still be there if they ever go back to the previous format!)
