MSNBC drops Joan Walsh as paid contributer

They aren't renewing her contract, but say she's still welcome any time as a guest. (Meanwhile, it didn't take 24 hours for CNN to snap her up! =D> )

Yeah, it's a tribute to Joan Walsh's popularity that she didn't stay unemployed even for a day! MSNBC's loss was CNN's gain.

But it's a sad commentary on MSNBC's mindless devotion to "ideological diversity" that they kept Chuck Todd and nutty Hugh Hewitt, rather than holding onto Joan, one of the smartest women around.
