This is the Original Web Page we put up in 2006 when Keith was first emerging as a controversial figure.  This web site has passed between owners a couple of time since, and "any day now" we are going to redesign it.   Actually, we put most of our time into the Forum these days, so not so much here with HTML. 

This always amazes me, but the first question I have often been asked is "Who is Keith Olbermann, and why should I care?" Keith Olbermann is primarily a Radio and Television Journalist, although he writes and writes well (see Bloggermann to the left). He is well educated (Cornell) very intelligent, and also very independent. He therefore is frequently at odds with his bosses at MSNBC, as you will read in the Forum.

Keith had an epiphany at the end of the Clinton/Lewinsky Scandals, and wrote a famous speech, which he gave at the Cornell Graduation Exercises, and led to him losing his job at MSNBC "the first time". (See Cornell Speech, Left Button). He caught my eye as he bucked the tide of journalists who reported talking points without question, devoted valuable hours of network time to trivia, and literally were nothing more than Talking Heads. I soon discovered Keith was pretty much the only person on MSNBC worth watching, and have become convinced he is this generations Edward R. Murrow.

Make no bones about it, this is a pro-Keith site.  We here at K-O.O have been impressed with Keith's integrity, honesty and intelligence, and want to help spread the word!

This is therefore a rallying point for friends of Keith, and people of integrity and values from across the political spectrum. We will keep you updated on how Keith is doing with Countdown and Sports Center, provide a world class forum for the sharing of information and opinion, and perhaps some entertainment as well.
